あなたの神、主のために、主が選ぶ場所で、七日間、祭りをしなければならない。あなたの神、主が、あなたの全ての収穫、あなたの手の全てのわざを祝福されるからである。あなたは大いに喜びなさい。（申命記１６：１５）
今週の聖書個所 申命記１４：２２～２７
あなたの喜びは完全であると言えますか？聖書の中で、喜びは御霊の実として表わされています。実を実らせるには常に栄養を与え、水を与え、手をかけなければなりません。祝うと言う事を霊的に訓練することで喜びは魂の内で育って行くのです。それは私たちの多くにとって自然にできる事ではありません。あなたは定期的に神様から与えていただいた人生を祝っているでしょうか？だからパウロは２度も言ったのです、主にあって喜びなさいと！
“For seven days celebrate the
Feast to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the
Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of
your hands, and your joy will be complete.” (16:15)
This week’s reading: Deuteronomy 14:22-27.
Would
you describe your joy as being complete? Joy is described in Scripture
as a fruit of the Spirit. It needs to be nourished and watered and
tended to regularly in order to bear fruit. Joy is cultivated in the
soul through the spiritual practice of celebration – something that may
not come naturally for many of us. Do you regularly celebrate the life
that God has given you? It’s why Paul says it twice: Rejoice in the
Lord!
