イエス様があなたや私のために祈った祈りは、イエス様ご自身とキリストの体にある他の者たちとが一つになるための祈りでした。「あなた」はどのようにして教会に一致をもたらすことができるでしょうか？
イエス様の祈りが答えられキリストの体に一致が与えられるために、あなたの教会生活のどの部分を変えることができるでしょうか？
他の人を助ける事、自分の賜物を使って自ら進んで仕える事、誰かの必要を満たそうと自分から何かを始める事、教会に早めに来てテーブルや椅子を並べること―真剣に考え始めるとやることは沢山あります！ キリストを信じる者としてイエス様は私たちが時間通りに礼拝に来て座ること以上を求めています―それだけではキリストの愛や一致はこの世には伝わりません。
人が「ホープチャペル・ウェスト東京」を見てイエス様の愛と一致が真実であり、生きているということが分かるでしょうか？
Jesus prayed, “I in them and you in me. May
they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and
have loved them even as you have loved me.” (John 17:23)
Jesus’ prayer for you and for me was unity
with Him and with others in the Body of Christ. How can “you” help to bring
unity into your church?
In which areas of your church life can you change; in
order to bring unity to the Body of Christ and therefore respond to Jesus’
prayer?
Reaching out to others, volunteering to serve with your gifts, taking
initiative to fill a need, coming early to set up chairs and tables - the list
seems endless when you really think about it!
As Believers in Christ, Jesus calls us to
do more than just arrive on time for service and to sit – it is not the way the
world will know the love and unity of Christ.
When people look at “Hope Chapel
