“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore if anyone is in Christ; he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:16,17)

This week’s reading: I Thessalonians 2:13-16 / 2 Corinthians 5:14-21.

As Christians, we have all been told that God watches over us. Initially there is a sense of comfort and safety knowing that “He watches over me.” At other times in our walk with Him; there may be a sense of fear that I need to be careful over what I’m doing because like Big Brother – HE WATCHES OVER ME! The truth is that God is much closer than we normally realize. He is with us, he sees us and sees what we see as well. Setting the Lord before yourself on a moment by moment basis allows yourself to begin to see what Jesus sees. It begins to transform your own personal view of people and circumstances into His. It changes the way you interact with others and events by seeing the world through His eyes! Stay in His presence and begin to really see!
